Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has signed into law a bill which now shortens the time within which an injured worker must give notice of an on the job injury. The time has been shortened from 30 days down to 15 days! This law goes into effect July 1, 2016. If you or a friend or family member have had an accident or were injured on the job, please make sure to report it immediately. Waiting beyond the 15 day period will cause you to lose valuable rights. Be sure to fill out a report of injury.
