Flexer Law is committed to the service, care, and well-being of our clients. On Friday, March 13, 2020, the Supreme Court of Tennessee issued an order keeping courts open but, with some exceptions, suspending in-person court proceedings. Those court proceedings that cannot occur in-person may be carried out via telephone, video, teleconferencing, email, or other means that do not involve in-person contact.
The Supreme Court Order will remain in effect until March 31, 2020. The Worker’s Compensation Bureau has announced that all Worker’s Compensation settlement approvals will be done telephonically. Mediation will continue only over the phone until further notice. All hearings will still be conducted in person.
Tennessee Bankruptcy courts are still open, and we are following their lead. Our offices are still fully operational as we follow guidance from the federal government on how your cases will be handled with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will work to keep Information updated here and on our facebook page as changes occur.
We are maintaining a diligent standard of cleanliness in our physical locations for the protection of our staff and clients. When appropriate and/or necessary, we are holding virtual meetings to ensure that we can meet your needs and the requirements of the courts.
If you are feeling ill, please do not visit the Flexer Law offices. Contact us directly to reschedule or set up an alternative meeting plan. We will not accept walk-in clients until further notice. If you have a question or concern about your case, please call in order to minimize person to person contact.
